hi i have a friend with a t300 and he put on his phone lock and then changed the code but can no longer remember the code (idiot!!!)

heard that if you take it to service centre they can take the phone lock off,

but can this be done without going to a service centre, ie downloading some software to read off the code, like you can do with nokias,

any help would be great, as he doesnt want to send his phone off to a cervice centre and there are no ones near by, and tried taking to the link and they said they couldnt do anything,
