This is a real mystery!
I bought the W960i to replace my P990i primarily as a smart phone for business.
However. It seems no Push email seems to work on the phone.
SE told me yesterday by telephone that only Active Sync works (despite initial lietrature stating it will work with any push email client)
to make matters worse, I called Vodafone who said their own MYMAIL service doesn't work on the handset either.
Ive searched the web solidly for a month no every day looking for people who may have had joy. but so far no one is talking about it.
has ANYONE here had any luck/advice?

The phone does support Exchange Push E-mail as it comes with the Dataviz e-mail application (Roadsync) preinstalled.
It also works with IMAP push e-mail servers. If Voda's MYMAIL service is based on IMAP push then there is no reason why it wouldn't work.
Check with Voda how the service works, then if its an IMAP push server you can complain to SE.

I have successfully used ActiveSync Push Email with my W960i and my Exchange Server 2003 Sp2.
I do have a problem with the connection settings on my W960i. My web browser uses Vodafone Wap but ActiveSync uses Vodafone Internet. A sync causes the Vodafone Wap connection to be dropped.
I have written a mini guide in my blog

although i use a p1i, i beleive 'seven' push mail can be used with w960 as well. it can sync with work mail (exchange/imap) as well as hotmail, yahoo etc.
