Was wondering if anyone can help me check....

When you startup your W960i and immediately go straight to Task Manager, do you see Connections Manager, Messages, and Contacts launched automatically?

I just installed some apps and when I restarted my phone I noticed this happens and my paranoid nature is making me suspect the possibility of a virus that's insidiously sending messages to everyone in my contact list.....

Many thanks for any help rendered!

Mm. I think you could get apps to autostart by putting a reference in d:\\private\\10274b9f\\import.... and so on earlier on. But it's not possible any more, if I remember right.

And you're safe as long as you don't install the virus yourself, really. And even then there's no way to manipulate other programs very easily.. by installing a clever hack of some sort, for example. (It's not windows, either.) So just keep an eye on the security messages, and the capabilities of the programs you install, and you'll be fine.

Im sure SE programmed it to do that so that when you open contacts or messages the phone opens them fast.
