In my phone there is a wrong network information. In India MTNL Dolphin Mumbai has code 40469 While MTNL Dolphin New Delhi has 40468 code. This code is also known as MNC Code.
Now the problem is that 40469 MNC Code is also shown as MTNL Dolphin New Delhi while as i earlier explained it belongs to Mumbai.
I want to know that how can i change wrong name to correct one.
Also in India, there is a new operator Vodafone which has replaced Hutch. Whenever i do network search, it still shows Hutch while Vodafone should be shown.
So, do you have any idea to update it's network list ?

I cant answer all the questions, but i will try to answer the Voda Hutch thing
When a network changes names, There are a few tings that have to take place on the phones and sim cards.
Your phones are genreal already programmed with all the networks round the world. So the names are preprogrammed. So if your phone shows Hutch then this is because your phone still has the name in it as Hutch. Firmware updates normaly resolve this issue as the new and old names get added/removed.
However your sim card also has something to play, If you have a old sim card, then again the programming may be out of date. I know when i search on one of my SE phones, when i went to the USA it said Cingular, when its now called at&t. However when i clicked on the network the screen did show at&t.
This is becuase the sim card was a new one and over rid the phone command and showed the network name that was being broadcasted.
Hope this makes sense
