"Today Nokia announced its intentions to purchase Trolltech, the makers of the 'Greenphone', the Linux powered Qtopia platform as well as the Qt product that is used in such products as Google Earth and the Opera web browser. Nokia says that the acquisition will allow Nokia and its developer community to better create applications that work on the Internet, Nokia's phones, and on personal computers."
