Strange enough I can pair my K790a to my PS3 80 GB under the camera option. I haven't tried it out to see if it works or not but wondering if BT joystick would work?

I'm not sure if this was posted before or not so I'm sorry if it was & I missed it.
After seeing the video of the European head of Sony Entertianment division advertise that Playstation Home will eventually be able to see photos off of future phones (showing a modified Firmware of the SonyEricsson - SE - W880i phone), it got me thinking.
For the past 3 mths I've tried pairing (successfully) my SonyEricsson K790a phone & also my SE HBH-DS970 Stereo (A2DP) Headphones with my 80GB PS3. Unfortunately I could NOT see files, nor use my Headset at all.
So tonight out of hunch - realizing the PS3 is a linux pc in disguise, not just a BluRay player or Video game system - I figured why not connect my phone via the USB cable attachment that came with my K790a to the PS3. Now this only worked via the File Transfer mode not in regular Phone Mode ( the latter used for synching with the PC on Windows).
WOW I was VERY impressed. Not only did it recognize Photos, Videos of my phone, it also showed folders like (ams, Java, system: but not the content within these) which are normally hidden either viewing on the PC or the phone without third party java file browsing apps.
If any of you have a SE phone and you're USB cable give this a test to see your results. I'll post photos later - they'll be quite blurry and horrible in quality because its the best camera I have.
NOTE: This is NOT a new phone its a 1.2yr old phone and I'm beginning to think future SE phones after teh K850i will be able to be viewable via BT on the PS3 with future Firmware updates; since these phones have a PSP like Media Browser and also having 3G + HSDPA and video calling capable so remote viewing would be SWEET! Jsut my imagination of what is possible.
^ Notice the License Transfer & PIM folders above.

One thing I did notice is any subfolders in your Pictures menu will not show up, nor their content on the PS3

. At least it charges the K790a though so I'm REALLY happy I don't need to kick the kids off the PC when I need to charge. My wall charger died.
