> Best UK prepaid card for data usage?

I'm going to london next weekend, and since i've never been there before i wanna use google maps on my iPhone to get around.
And since it'll be too expensive to use my own subscription i'm gonna buy one when i get there. Which provider has the best card for this? (plus some texting and maybe a call or two)

for £1 a day you get unlimited data
they also have a
5 day plan for £2.50

And that works on all phones? And the kind of data the iPhone uses? I know Telenor Norway used to differentiate on wap (wap.something.etc) vs. real internet (www.and.all.other.things)
if it's 1£ no matter what, it's a pretty good deal

Obviously you can't use 3g but I'm pretty sure t-mobile UK have EDGE now
for full internet access set the APN (or whatever iphone call it) to general.t-mobile.uk
