i have d/l the latest disc2phone software and the latest pc suite as i am running vista. when i try and transfer an album onto the phone a box pops up telling me that disc2phone has had to close. it all works fine until you get to the stage when you click transfer. as yet i havent been able to use the walkman as i am unable to add any music, any idea's as to why this might be happening.

i never used d2p. just copy it on the m2 and thats it. imo thats the easiest and best way

Could be Vista. Some SE programs aren't supported by Vista yet. Did you check the system requirements?
I agree with Boba though, do you have the music on your computer anyway? Because then you should just transfer it to your phone like a USB flash drive.

have things changed slightly on se phones then as when i had my w800i it wouldnt play anything through the walkman that hadnt been converted through d2p first. i will give it a go though.

right have just put a couple of cd's on and although they both went on, only one worked properly. ripped from cd to hd first and one of them came up as an unknown album so i renamed the folder yet when transferred onto the phone it still says unknown. when i tried this cd with the d2p, gracenote renamed it for me so is there a way to get a music recognition service with media player so that it gets renamed properly before i try and put it onto the phone.
