Just go into your router and add your P1i to the DMZ and voila, it will work.

What he is referring to is a feature on some routers to give open net access to certain IP addresses.
The idea is :-
1) add a IP address to your router which has unrestricted open internet access - one that bypasses any firewall.
2) change your wlan account on your p1 so that it isn't getting a IP address automatically. set it to manual and set it to the IP address you just un-restricted.
3) manually enter the DNS servers for your ISP
this then allows the P1 full internet access and seems to fix most people's issues with youtube.
remember to do 3) because if you don't you'll just get "can't connect to server" when you try to browse the net.

I'm having this problem with streaming as well with you tube over wifi. I followed the instructions about the DMZ but it doesn't seem to make any diffenence.
Any more advice? I'm using a P990i

R4 is old fw and known to be quite buggy. Current fw for P990 (WG 1) is R6E28 which is very stable. If Your P990 is branded and you can't update because of that, I suggest you use XS++ (you can find the relevant thread on Esato) to make it CDA /1 (World Generic 1) and update to the latest fw.
You will be surprised by the difference in speed and stability. Most likely it will take care of your problem too.
