It is possible to change the casing and regarding the Walkman software its not possible.
Regarding the camera part look on the forum there is a exclusive thread about that and better acoustics, even that is mentioned on forum.

1. You can change casing in nearest SE service centre or mobile shop.
2. Not sure if you can actually make it work louder with soft.
3. No, as far as I know u cant do that.
4. Try searching esato on latest cam driver. But be careful, it needs some advance user skills.
