because the s500i is beeing sold at 280$ in leb, while the w580i is priced at 350$. So if possible, an s500i plus 30$ ( for a w580i cover) will be 310$, so i'll be saving 40$, and having the better looking w580i. For the specs of the s500i are good enough for me.

yep i know... no accelerometer in the s500i. but im only interested in the black w850i cover wich i find better looking than the black s500i.

Yet, still there are some differences in the softkey layout (beneath the screen) in the 2 phones. I doubt those would work after a cover-swap.
