All,
I'm in the USA, using an SE 580i. I've just started working on converting and transferring video to the phone using the M3 software I read such great things about at this forum. So far I'm converting .avi files only - pending purchase of a 4GB memory stick.
I'm wondering:
> what phone to select from the drop down menu in M3 - cos mine isn't listed
> how to set a specific size of the output file
Any tips at all regarding how to attain optimum quality using the M3 converter for my W580i are greatly appreciated in advance.
Sincerely,
Tom Logan

I think you can use the Phone Model W850 or K800 because it has the same pixel 320 x 240 and just select other settings

Thanks for the reply.
Any ideas on how to set the output file size? Phone indicates '234 MB free' and I keep converting files only to find out the MP4 output file wont fit on my phone (after a 2 hr wait) which is quite frustrating. Is there some way of determining or estimating the output file size based on the input file's size?
As I mentioned, I'm waiting on a larger capacity memory stick - hopefully with that, size wont be a problem.
Also, I have NOT installed Quicktime (since I've read bad things about its invasiveness), M3 inicates that this is required - but I seem to be able to get by without it. What is the role of Quicktime and do I really need it?
Many thanks in advance,
Tom
