hey
i know there is a special sequence of keys for accessing the service menu in symbian phones
i have forgotten it...can anybody please just help me out with this?

It is for entering the Service Menu on your P1i.
Its a special menu were you can get a lot more information about your phone
And you can Test every aspects of your phone like the Display, Keyboard, Camera, Flash, Touchscreen, Speakers, Mic etc.
Try it out
On your home screen.
[jog dial up] [*] [jog dial down] [jog dial down] [*] [jog dial down] [*]

nothing happend, I see 3 * on the screen,tried to call but nothing happend

Dont press anything otherthan the Key Sequence
[jog dial up] [*] [jog dial down] [jog dial down] [*] [jog dial down] [*]
it will take you to the Service menu directly, no need to press the call button.
[jog dial up] = means scroll one point upwards on the Jog dial on the left side of your phone
[jog dial down] [jog dial down] = means scroll two points downwards on the Jog dial on the left side of your phone. do the remaining steps.

Push the jog dial upwards once. Then *.
Push the jog dial downwards twice. Then *.
Push the jog dial downwards once. Then *.
Hopefully you get what I mean.
