I would like to know if anyone tried any application or program that allows the "symbian phone, SE, Nokia?) to be used as a router.. giving out Wlan-connection for other technical products, like Ipod Touch, Laptop etc...?

Ive heared that it should work.. but can anyone confirm maybe?

Thank u for the time!

Because i would like to be able to use my ipod touch "on the move" as it has a more user-friendly screen and appearance, than say a "cell-phone.."

then you sould have got an iphone

so you want to be able to use a symbian phone as wifi modem connecting to the internet via GPRS or 3G? i dont think that this is possible. it would be possible with your laptop via blutooth or USB but i cannot think of a solution for your ipod touch.

not that i know how to do it... but a colleague at work had an laptop online and the router was his nokia N95,he told me that the laptop gets it through bluetooth and not wifi as i would think,so it is possible ,and once playing with my p1i i think i saw this somewhere.

Before saying 'I don't see how that could work' you should do a bit of research:
