I am trying to understand how to flash my P990i with XS++.
Let's say I downloaded a file P990_DPY_Generic_World1_R9GA001_R5A01_R6E28_R6E28R.rar which contains many files:
ACPU_CDA1620071_R6E28_ROFS
ACPU_SW_PDA_CXC162036 R6E28 HW fp2_1_ROF
CAMERA_Software

What I am supposed to do with it?!?!
After connecting my P990i, I select "Flash" but XS++ seems only to understand ZIP files, so it cannot see the .RAR I just downloaded.
Should I unrar it?
Should I convert it to a .ZIP?

When you download it on your PC and if you have winzip installed you can right click on the downloaded file where you get the option to Unrar.
Later open the XS++ exe file wher you get an option flash main/fs/cust file, you also get the pop-up window where you have to select the file from the location in the PC wher you have downloaded the file.....then flash that file.

XS++ behaves differently when flashing smartphones, the only allowed file type is ZIP!
