Well, after my fist stylus broke within a minute of it leaving the box, I wasn't at all surprised when the second one broke today. The plastic that screws into the metal part is just too thin. Why bother making the top removable?
Anyway, SE say no way to replacing them under warranty (!), and they want £14 for a set of 3.
So, has anyone got some alternative suppliers bookmarked that aren't trying to rip people off? I will of course resort to eBay if not, but I was hoping someone knew of a reliable source, or perhaps a useful eBay store.
Thanks to anyone who can help

Terrible isn't it? There's no way it's a fair price.

wait, is the top plastic part also screw-on? I broke mine the first day, but fixed it by drilling a hole in the plastic part, and inserting a nickel silver rod, and gluing it with epoxy. I plan to do the other stylus too, and the tip part also...

Try a search on eBay
3 x Replacement Stylus For Sony Ericsson P1 P1i
3 stylus for $ 3.99 US. They are almost identical to the origlnal, just a little smaller. They don't "click" when you insert them into the P1. Not much to loose!

@ legrand01
if they don't tick that means it's not "inside"
and it may fall any time
the tick sound is for the hook that holds the stylus
