you dont need any player the built in player can play mp4 files..if for some reason they dont work(maybe bad encoding) i suggest..

as quite a few other people will aswell tell you to use this application
also use my screenshot example to set the resolution and quality:) (the screenshot is just a guideline:) )

PP4's play really nice on my P1i. I can recommend the M3 software for making .mp4 files. I love that it reads even .flv files, so I can download stuff from youtube or such, and play them later on my P1i.
