I'm guessing you mean the Walkman 3.0 player and the generic media player 3.0
Well, the walkman player has additional filters, including the SensMe filter (which lets you choose songs according to their mood). It also has the Shake feature (lets you chooose next/previous song and shuffle just by shaking the phone... while holding the walkman button).

ShakeMe is phone dependant.

the major difference i was trying to find out was music quality eq features that sort of stuff, the shake me feature i actual see as quite useless to be honest and the sensme is a good idea but not something i use

The media player on K850i is almost the same player as in the W910i, but it do not have the sensme or some of the other "fancy" stuff, but the K850i got MegaBass, equaliser, good sound, I use mine as primary music player, my Ipod have almo9st not been touched since my phone arrived.

As long as you use mp3 files with good quality you will get nice sound, but if you want very good sound quality then you should buy a new headset for your phone.
Then you will get a great music player!

I KNOW somebody can give an opinion here. How is the audio quality on a Walkman phone compared to an iPod using a decent set of headphones? I would love for my next device to be a combination of a music player and a phone, but I care a lot about audio quality and I don't know if hones are quite there yet.
