Iv heard it could be arson as they want to re-develop the area. Tbh i think it would be a shame to lose such an iconic part of London. but it would make shit loads of cash for the developers...

I’m not so sure it would make them so much money. It’s a shopping centre that’s planned to take up most of the space there. And what with the new one at Sheppards Bush there really is no need.
I hope they decide to rebuild the market and keep it like it was.

Whats the latest on this? Arson? Insurance job from the stall owners?
