Ok party ppl. I need your help.

I've lived through ALL eras of Modern House (House music has been around in 1 form to another since REAL Disco: not that ABBA crap). Modern House I call Acid House, Inner City, Kevin Saunderson, Derrick Maye, Erick Morillo, N-Joi, etc.

If you remember back in the late 80's (when I got into house I was 15/6 yrs old. Back then even French Kiss was a HOT new track, and at Record stores (true records) had white-labels with most not even having a pen written info of the track & artist. That said, and many cats in my hood still listening to Rock or HipHop had no clue what my tight group of friends where getting into. Beating the lineups of older ppl (20's or 30's crowd getting PISSED because 10 or 12 15-17yr olds got passed the bouncer without ID checks in the hottest underground clubs).

There was a few songs that I recall that brought the Tribal sounds; very beginnings to house (although Latin house has always had it long before). Many of you remember "Motherland" on Pow Wow Records,NY - 1990.

There was one track ... one that had lots of soul, heart, and meaning. It had a special place in my heart, not only because of my heritage, but also because of my color & I lived in a predominantly white 'hood & felt out of place and at times was reminded of it by smaller minds at that time in school. Back on track, there was a specific song of meaning speaking of Apartheid in Africa. Lyrics I recall went something like this.

How many others know out there,
Of brothers & sisters living in fear.
Based on there color they have no say,
just watching there mothers dragged away.
No right to vote or even say,
can't walk outside a certain time of day.
Well I can feel it in my bones, and I can feel it in my feet....
(blah blah blah blah bla blah ...)
I'm gonna sweat, (echo echo echo)
Until until I'm soaking wet!

what the FRAK is the name of this song and WHO sings it, and CAN somebody upload it on youtube PLEASE!

I'd be forever greatful.

PS feel free to mention any other wicked house tracks you love.

peace & one love & happiness through world unity!

Man I'm STILL diggin for this track and cannot fine it ANYWHERE! IT was song by a caramel light skinned brotha and he sung this PASSIONATELY! It came out roungly 5 yrs before Apartheid was abolished, and Mandela came out of imprisonment confinement.

"Owayo wayo oh oh!" is how the first beets started.
