> mp4 on P990

Hey
Got some mp4 videos, ( they was made for the iPhone by someone ).
Tried to get my P990 to play them but it just wont start.
Quicktime plays them on the PC so the files are not damaged.
Is there different kind of mp4 files ? Or what is the problem here ??

codec: H.264
The converted become:
320x240 650 kbps
codec: MPEG-4 Simple
I guess the codec was not right for the P990 ?

maybe it was too high
but even your converted is too high,650kbps seems bit much to me..maybe not for your
for optimal settings - which i use and some others..
use 256kbps or 320kbps video bit rate
and 96kbps or 128 kbps for audio bit rate
OR anything in between
But if your picky stick with your 650kbps..
only draw back of that is it uses quite a bit of memory up..hopefully you have at least a 4gb m2

i had the same problem i fixed it by getting a copy of xilisoft's video converter and setting it on psp mpeg4 320x240 works a treat converted high def to mpeg4 comes out really well

I use xilisoft too and it's great for converting, it would convert anything that M3 or Sony Ericsson Media Studio fails to convert, but for widescreen DVD conversion, M3 is still the best convertor to customize your video if you fancy full screen viewing
