Hello all you lucky P800 owners.

One of the main functions I want is good music playback.

On my (just sold) iPAQ I could got away with very small files in wma format 48Kbps. With my T68 in mp3 format I had to have them at 96Kbps to be good enough for me.

Does the P800 support mp3Pro or wma or is it just bog standard mp3?

Is the sound as good as that on an iPAQ or dedicated mp3 player?

Are the supplied earplugs any good and does the phone use the smaller phono jack?

Any news on the bigger DUO cards.

Thanks for any feedback in advance.

the sound in the headphones is very good indeed! And the loudspeaker goes rather loud! now, I am not sure if it supports wma, but post a link to such a file, and I will try to download it and test!

as for mp3 it supports any bitrate I think, I have one mp3 with 56 bitrate, and it works just fine! I kept the bitrate down to save space, eagerly awaiting a larger MS DUO! (7 minutes file, 2,5MB , the quality was just fine for me)

the jack is small, unfortunately! but the earplugs are surprisingly good.. but they would most likely loose against any other headset (not earplugs) on the market!

@skjalg

Not sure what this music is but here are some .wma files I found quickly on the web. The files are self extracting zip files (if you don't want run the .exe file then change file extension to .zip and extract the .wma file).

Just a stupid question...
Is it right that the P800 doesn't play MP3 as ringtones????
That would really disappoint me. Even more since it supports MP3 anyway.
