My phone has been working perfectly since the day I bought it. Today, I was texting someone and all of a sudden my phone froze. The only logical thing to do, I took the battery out and put it back in. In the middle of the next text, it froze AGAIN. Then, I tried turning it on and calling someone, the call went to voicemail and as soon as the call ended, it froze on me again. Even in the "music only" option the screen freezes. When I say "freezes," i mean the screen stays the way it is, it doesn't turn blank or anything. What might be wrong with the phone? Would I be able to take it to a store to fix, and how much would it cost? Is there a way I'd be able to fix it myself?

What does Firmware do? Do I have a virus or something that just jumped into my phone, lol? I'm at the point where the phone just freezes on start-up and it even freezes when I plug in the AC adapter. How would I be able to install it into my phone?

Possible that the software on your phone is damaged, happens sometimes.
Use SEudpate to do some firmware updates, just connect the cable and follow the instructions that could do the job.

I connected my phone and ran the program. There are no new updates for me to install and it's still busted. Is there any other reason for my phone malfunction? Thanks for your help already, but if there is anything else to your knowledge that would help my cause, it would be great.

if u format backup all important data on memory stick cos all wil b wiped out. it cud also b a corrupt file dat is causing u phone 2 slow down. how full is u memory stick? an almost full memory stick can slow th phone down n cause it 2 hang.
