Well the oddest thing happened to my phone a couple of days back. I was using my phone when I found out that the "4" button on my keyboard didn't work, it was absolutely unresponsive. I thought my phone was defective or something. I was about to ship it into Sony Ericsson for repairs and before i did so, i decided to back up my information. When i started it up one last time, I tried the keypad again and it just started to work again. Can anyone tell me what the heck is going on with my phone? is this a bug or something? My phone works perfectly again... I am just curious as to why this occurred...
On a side note, can someone tell me the latest firmware for the W960? I think it might of been because of my firmware. My current firmware is R9J005

It was probably a minor conflict in the firmware, don't expect to see this error again. Regarding your firmware, yep that's the latest one.

Ok, for the past day or so my phone has been working fine. But just recently, this problem started to come back again. What should I do? Any suggestion? Should I also flash my firmware again as well? It might be able to fix my problem. If I have to flash my firmware again, how do i do so? Thanks for helping.

EDIT: so I tried reinstalling the firmware with SE Update Service, but it doesn't really solve the problem. At times the "4" button on my keypad is still unresponsive. Any suggestions on my problem? Should I try to send it to Sony Ericsson?

Reboot your phone.
If problem persist, maybe your songs are corrupted.
