Does anyone find the volume to be too low on walkman phones?

dont set the dbms too high, you will realize thats its gets distorted to a point i think +5 dbms is good - last time i tried it was three years so give me a head up

Cool. what does track gain mean? And have you any idea how i get the track from the gain window to my memory card? Or once you have altered it, is that the original track altered with no need for transferring it?

yep, it's a sony thing. if i wanna switch from ipod to phone (using the hbh ds220 + sens hd25-1), i find it to be quiet enough to stop me using it for mp3 more often. shame. but mine is cybershot, not walkman (are walkman phones same volume as cybershots?)

[only just] good enough for quick journeys to the shops or walking 'round town. NOT sufficient for serious listening (ie: longer journeys). this is quite sad on phones with expandable memory.

also i find the equalizer to be almost non existent, only works in very small increments. you walkman guys have the megabass, but with good headphones you don't need it (or eq for that matter).

i'm happy with cybershot, if it was walkman i'd be up in arms!!

comparing the loudness of my N91 to my w950...i find the N91 to be bombastic.

somehow SE makes their phones with good sound QUALITY but low VOLUME.
