Id go for the N82 simply because i think it looks better.. features are similar cept the n95 has 8gb mem an a larger screen (same res), n82 has a better design imo and also has xenon flash.. it all boils down to what you prefer

8 gb on memory ( ofcourse you can add 6gb or more of memory card to n82)
2.8inch screen

these two reason are good enough for me

you don't need Xenon Flash dude if you are more inclined to taking videos esp. at night. and besides N82 has a smaller, screen, minuscule keypad, worse look. N95 8gb has better overall looks and features.

I like the look of the N82 better... Especially in Black.

It depends on your preferences, of course, but the main differences are:

N82
- Cheaper (note: an 8GB memory card will add £34 to the price, but you do do get 2GB initially)
- Better camera due to Xenon flash
- Using a memory card means that file transfers can be made significanly faster by utilising an external card reader (both the N82 & N95 8GB use USB 1.1 transfer speeds, making data transfer very slow over the USB cable)

N95-8GB
- Larger screen
- 8GB of memory built-in (but not upgradable)
- Extra external buttons for Play/Pause, FF and RW

Other than the features mentioned above, the phones are absolutely identical.

I personally have the N82, because I value the Xenon flash & noted the extra cost per year for a N95-8GB call plan was quite a bit more than for an N82 call plan. I was also worried about the data transfer speed into a fixed 8GB of memory, which is actually a bit of an issue.
