Is this possible?
Say if i was to buy a phone on a 12 month contract and then decide after a month i dont want the contract,Could i cancel providing i pay the remainder off?
Would they allow this so early on?
As anyone done it?
Also do orange still allow 14 day returns on there contract handsets?
Thanks

Yes u can pay of ur contract early but u have to pay the remainder line rental of of ur contract, u will miss all ur free benefits tho I think ur betta of waiting it out rather then paying £300.

not sure if they allow it, but even if they don't allow it, u might as well just pay £300 if thats how much the total remainder of the line rental is, as a big payment to ur account and just use the mins on ur sim only, and just put the sim away when u ran out of mins.

J273 - I may be way off the mark, but i'm guessing you are asking this as a follow on from your interest in the i780 Samsung (following your posts on coolsmartphone). If so, bear in mind, that as far as I am aware, the business section has different terms and conditions to the consumer.
-I too am seriously thinking of getting this phone... just have a few reservations (inc. the worry about the GPS that you raised in earlier posts).

Yeah it is the i780....cant wait any longer for the sim free model..
Ive just gone to order but as its a business phone in the businss section its asking for a company phone no. /address .etc
So it looks like i wont be able to get it as i was going to use it for personal use.
Is it actually possible to order from the business shop even though its for personal use?..As anyone done this before?
Thanks

it can be had for £28 over 12 months which is pretty good.....£120 for the handset.
Id never use the sim and plan on unlocking and using my t-mobile sim.
@Wuz
It comes pre-bundled with garmin which ive heard is pretty good....so not too fussed about getting tomtom on there....even though thats what id like to do.
Im pretty sure though with it being windows mobile it wil be possible to hack it to allow comms to the GPS onboard.

I don't think you can.
I have both a personal and business account with them. On the business account, I recall having to provide a load of details including headed note paper and business reigstration number, when I first signed up.
If you are that eager, it may be worth calling one of the bigger Orange retail stores (I usually go for the Oxford street ones) and asking when they are due in. Once they are in, you can then usually call Orange and get direct, even though its not showing on the Orange website as coming soon.

Ahh ok thanks
Thats a shame....I thought i may have been able to order even though its for personal use.
Think i may have to hold out then for the sim free model.
Its now been delayed until the 17th of march.

Get to an Orange retail shop once the phone is launched and they should let you have it on personal use
