"The BlueCom 102 is a small device, running on batteries, that can be taken with you from motorcycle to motorcycle. The 102 weights 65 grams, and the lithium-ion battery will last 8 hours in operations mode (more in standby).
3rd Party Headsets Welcome
Now here's the interesting thing. Although AKE make their own Bluetooth Headset (the 101), the BlueCom 102 will work with almost any Bluetooth headset out there (e.g. Scala Rider, HelloBiker, CellularLine/Blueant/SuperTooth, etc, or motorcycle helmets with integrated Bluetooth, like Nolan N-Com, Dainese, Momo, Vemar or even BMW's ill-fated DCS). What's even better, is that it'll work with any combination of these headsets. In other words, if you have let's say a Scala Rider, and your pillion has a CellularLine Interphone, you can not only communicate together, but also listen to GPS, mobile phone, walkie-talkie and even music."
