Its time for me to upgrade but not sure which phone to buy, I mean they are so many to choose from, many phones are similar. Since I keep a phone for atleast 1year and make use of most of the features like camera, music etc so I want a decent one so I thought I ask you guys who probably used these phones. I am currently interested in Nokia N82 and Samsung G810, they look similar in terms of features, is there any difference in hardware and software. In my view N82 might have edge over G810, maybe it has better GPS software, Ngage games support and better screen but I used Nokia series before so I am thinking of trying G810, I know it not released it yet, I was told it will be out next month, do samsung release firmware updates?

I don't know if the G810 is out yet, not too familiar with how long it takes them to release their phone after they announce them, but it is one good looking device IMO. Seems to have everything that one could want from a non-QWERTY phone, and that optical is nice too. I'm actually quite surprised that it is not getting more attention on here. I have never nor personally know anybody who has held either device, but from specs alone, it looks like the G810 is the way to go.

I prefer that too, problem is not released yet, I heard that it will be out next month. N82 isn't bad either, it has better video, game support and screen, I have been offered N82 on o2 for £30 400mins anytime anynetwork or no phone just £2.50 line rent

N82 for me, noone knows how fast the G810 will be, nor how long the battery will be, nor how reliable it will be.

With the N82, Nokia seem to have almost hit the nail on the head and made an N-series that SEEMS to have a half decent battery, is fast, and has no issues knows at present.

It has a OMAP2430,so ill say itll be quite similar to N95 or better.
More than matches N95 on paper..

Im sure the 5MP module with is good, which will probably be ruined by poor post processing or poor optics, but full marks to samsung for integrating 3x OZ.
Build quality seems good too..

n82, better imaging than the G810. And xenon flash knocks it out of the park.

And dont forget nokia's very important NSU (nokia software updater), nokia has been building on its n-series by releasing better firmware via updates. And with better firmware comes better fone.

And its nokia, do i have to say more.
