I've been beating my head against the wall on this one. Ever since upgrading the FW to R9K009, which comes with the ActiveSync 2.016, I'm missing the Inbox folder from the main messaging screen. It's strange, but I can cycle through the folders and never see Inbox. However, if a new message appears and I click to view it, suddenly I'm in the Inbox.
At first, I thought it was a problem with my restore. So I toasted everything and ran ActiveSync fresh. No luck.
I've tried installing ActiveSync 2.013 (you can't download 2.015 from SE for some reason), but that fails when trying to sync. I've even tried syncing using the SE Sync Manager after removing ActiveSync, but still no Inbox.
Now I haven't tried to sync using the SE Sync Manager prior to ActiveSync, although I could if necessary (this requires a master reset though, so I'd rather not have to do that for 10th time). That would prove if the problem is FW or ActiveSync related.
Has anyone else seen this or am I just lucky?

I re-installed the latest firmware and performed the ActiveSync, all with great success. So I believe that performing the restore, with either the "Settings" or "3rd Party Applications" options enabled, causes ActiveSync to break. Since apps can be reinstalled and settings re-enabled, I won't be restoring those anytime soon.
