I just don't know what to do. Hopefully you guys can help.

Yesterday, I sold my K850i that I'd had for a few months as it was getting on my nerves. The firmware issues I could live with, as I knew they'd be sorted eventually, but I hated the poor build quality of the handset, and also didn't find it comfortable to use (e.g. the buttons). I'm pleased it's gone to be honest.

I'm back using an old W810i that was lying around, and it feels great in comparison (much better build quality, fast software, etc), but it's only temporary as I want something a bit more up-to-date. But what?

I know it's almost a step down, but I was thinking of going for a K810i. I'm looking for something with a decent camera (but doesn't have to be as good as the K850i), xenon flash, good build quality (no creaky casing), quick interface, 3G... and that's about it. I'd prefer it not to be a Walkman phone though.

I know the K810i fits these requirements, but I just feel a bit uneasy about going for something that's been out for such a long time. On the other hand, I know its software is good and there's lots of patches/ drivers for it, which will be good to play around with.

What do you guys think? You are the experts.

Thanks so much in advance.

But it's a Walkman phone, which I don't really want (plus I'm not keen on that particular model, and I don't like slide phones generally).

K810i is a great phone.
I have both the K810i and K850i and I think the K810i takes better photos.
It is also much, much quicker and very stable. Feels much better in the hand and buttons are bette to press.

I getting about 50% of the photos from my K850i turning out either blurry, incorrect lighting etc, whereas on my K810i, I'm pretty much guaranteed the photo will be perfect 95% of the time.

Get the K810i, and you'll know what a Cybershot phone should be!

Um.. if I were you, I'd just wait for the C702 or C902.

Sorry, I should have said that I don't have a great deal of money to spend (around £170 maximum) so I don't think the C-series is going to fit the bill. Also, I want to order within the next week.

So far the K810i is still winning...

Why not get a k800, there seems to be so little difference between that and the k810 that you may as well get the cheaper one of the two!

The keypad on the k800 is even better than the one on the k810 so that would be one huge reason for me to get one - I've got a k850 but it's so slow and uncomfortable to use that the k800 has been in daily use since November when I originally got the k850!

In that case, get the K810.
