So I have my K790a which can stream A2DP just fine to my bluetooth headphones but recently I have installed the Sosche UBCK Bluetooth kit which turns my stereo into a bluetooth stereo. When I sync the two devices the K790a recognizes the bluetooth connection but only as a phone connection and not an A2DP Connection. I run the music player and it just comes out of the phone but when I make calls it comes out of the speakers.
Anyway...anyone know of a fix to "force" it to stream bluetooth A2DP. I've tried connecting and reconnecting the devices, read everything in the sosche manual and everything seems to be right. Let me know...

Scosche Universal MP3 Bluetooth Carkit
Nice. Had'nt heard of this accessory, what a great idea!
Only thing I can think of is that the K790 views the UBCK as a mono headset. Try pairing again using In-Car profile.
Is your phone running the latest firmware?

Yea I'm trying to get the k790 to take out everything I've ever needed. Camera, MP3 Player, Navigation, Phone are all in the one device
Tried it in car mode and there isn't any difference unfortunately
As far as firmware goes, I'm not sure if I have the newest nor do I know how to check/DL it. Just got the phone a month ago via eBay along with the 8 GB M2 card. Any help would be awesome. Hopefully it will all work out and I can just play it over my car stereo not through the crappy FM stuff either. Thanks!

Another
A2DP topic you may find interesting.
I wonder whether the UBCK recognises an A2DP connection from the K790? It may only recognise A2DP from the plug-in transmitter. Seems silly but have you tried connecting the transmitter to the K790? Scoshe don't seem to have a Forum so it might pay to contact them directly via thier website.
