So I'm new to the forum life so sorry if this is in the wrong location.

I thought I would review the Motorola S9 Bluetooth Headphones for those of you who may be a younger generation like myself and listen to music often and don't want the "white" ear buds of the typical MP3 Player. I used to have the very bulky HT820 and these are much much better.

Pricewise I paid $24.99 and $19.99 to ship on eBay. Sold the old ones for $45 so I actually got a better headphone set for cheaper. It shipped from China in about 2 weeks. Oh well about that.

Syncing these headphones were a piece of cake just like every other bluetooth headphones that I have tried. They sync right up and my 790a had no problem recognizing them as able to play stereo music.

I called up my mom and she had no problem hearing me while driving down the road and she came in loud and clear in both ears (maybe both ears is illegal, but I don't think the police could ever prove it). The music quality was just as awesome with bass coming through with no vibrations or blurring like one may be used to with other headphones.

The fit is why I got these. They are perfect for just working out or like tonight, snowboarding or other non-contact sports. They go on over the ear and plug right in to the ear canal for a comfy comfy fit. There are several headphone rubber ends so it should fit most ear types (even mine which can't hold in ear buds).

Overall I would rate this buy up at the top of the accessories that I'm already piling up for the k790a. Right behind the 8GB M2 card.

hmmm thats a really cheap price

do you have touch sensitive buttons on the side ??

i remember the first set of s9 headphones i bought were knockoffs ( instead of touch sensitive buttons you could click them )

i love my s9 headphones ( the real ones )

yeah he probably got some cheap copy from China...
and I don't think that review was helpful to anyone - like a small amazon review to me

You should've done a better job since I am interested in those too - battery life, sound (a better and thorough review) pairing

Some people report having problems with those headsets while outside - anyone?

Well I got one today to test - I think its some copy because as mentioned the buttons are not touch sensitive - i have to press them
So you guys just go over them and they do their work? volume up and down without pressing in?
I have to press them

I am just testing them but they dont fit at all in my ears - do I have some small ears or what? They just sit there without really fitting in and the sound is going out more than it is going in...

I am testing them with my P1i and they cant steer the player (bring it up) and the volume gui is different when pressing those buttons on the device

I am really disappointed with this thing - the pairing doesn't work very well either and I am having trouble shutting it down and then back on - button doesnt work well

Any ideas how to see if this is a copy?

thanx

P.s. Have been testing it for a while - the sound on this paired with my notebook is shitty - the HBH DS980 was at least 5 times better - I paired it with the p1i also and there were hick ups when I changed rooms - the HBH stayed on even if I was 2 rooms away

I dunno - I am definitely returning this garbage - not sure if I got a china copy from amazon or is the real thing that bad

They should look like this , the only buttons that are clickable are the call and pause/play

finally the dead give away (that i remember) was this sticker

in general the fake headphones are lighter, but the plastic they are made of is harder and so it doesn't flex very well

the real ones flex very well, and are pretty comfortable

ill do a full review after finals

OMG I ALMOST FORGOT !!!

the real ones have this hologram sticker on it aswell ( i dont remeber if the fake ones had it though ??? )

Well I got the black version but they look exactly the same

But I too noticed the part where on all the videos ppl were banding them easily and I have a problem with that - but that could be just me

So you don't even have to pressure the buttons (volume skip) - just move the thumb over and they click? Because I definitely have to apply some pressure in order for them to click - not like when you put your finger on the touch screen of the p1

One more thing thats really really annoying

They don't fit in the ears - i had the HBH ds980 and they fitted like a charm - the smallest pieces were inside the ear
And those things just wobble inside my ear and I can hear the surrounding sounds
I don't have small ears - you mean to tell me that they fit inside the ear perfectly?
If I pressure them a little I get the bass I should've gotten, if they were fitted better

Whats with that hologram sticker? There is a silver sticker on the right piece is that it - can u explain where it was?
Well they sure do look realy and if this is the case then I am dissapointed
Not to mention that when outside and the p1 in the pocket the signal is lost - what the f**k?!?
The HBH DS980 had a better connection

I am thinking of getting the pulsar 590E - anyone?

Have you used it while running/jogging?

I read somewhere that as the bluetooth module is at the back of your head (when you wearing them) that the phone needs to be in your back pocket.
You wont have any problems with music streaming while your stationary its when your moving that the streaming music stutters

Just found your thread on Google.

I am a postman and do lots of walking (obviously) and would like to know if anyone has tried these bluetooth stereo headphones on this website.

http://www.plymouthgadgetshop.uksite.biz/

I was looking at the one's with the caller ID but they seem expensive?

I am after some discreet one's which sound good as I bought some cheap one's off eBay and they lack bass to say the least!

Any help will be appreciated.
