O2 will be getting it late March, so hopefully we'll get some dummies. Doubt I can give you one though, and I doubt any CPW staff can either, because of how new it is.

I've got a shit load of OLD phones as dummies somewhere if you want them lol

We were in the woods once, and we made a little film on my phone with one (few years back) where a guys phone rings, he answers it, and says "oh hi mate, yeah, hang on a sec, let me put you on speaker phone" and then chucks it REALLY HARD at a tree and it explodes into a thousand pieces lol

Or play the guessing game. I'm undefeated, I can name almost ANY phone sold in the UK with my eyes closed by feeling a dummy phone. Even did it through a plastic bag once. I have yet to get it wrong

I don't want people stealing them!!

I would like to either;

a) buy a dummy 8110 pink
b) buy a 8110 pink keypad
c) get a CPW employee to give/sell me a 8110 pink dummy!

Reg, wouldn't be worth their job, unless their a manager

And I dunno where me bag 'o' phones has gone, I had two and I know I gave one away, but I can't remember for the life of me where the other one is. Would cost you a fortune in postage anyway, weighs a ton!

And to the guy who's stealing them? How much do you think their worth, really? Prolly a few quid, no? People like you are the bane of my nice life at work, they cost the company in the region of £50 everytime one of you little shits does that, and for what? To smash it up? I got mine as they were going in the bin, I don't STEAL, because I'm not a petty THEIF. Each store is given a budget by their head office and if they spend it all on dummy phones because some little turd has been stealing them then it's tough, and they can't afford to buy things they DO need.

Sorry, rant over, but really gets on my tits when people do that!

is it really more than their jobs worth? I know when I was at a certain mobile company I was "able" to take them wily nilly...

I think it costs more to make a dummy than it does the real phone!!

They cost up to £50 because they use all the same materials to make them, and it seems that that much of the phones cost is in it's casing. And then theres the lead to weigh it down too (note to all the boys and girls, NEVER give dummy phones to kids, could lead to lead poisoning!).

Maybe not worth their jobs, but I know in our shop, if I 'nabbed' one of our 8120 dummys they'd prolly notice, or if they found out, I'd be brought before a disiplinary board for stealing company property.
