My present Phone is a P990i.

My needs are as follows:
- Must permit operation of phone and SMS fucntions with one hand

- Touch screen for Blackberry email, reading PDFs, and maybe GPS

- good camera which will permit me to take pics to make good 4x6 prints

- Standard numeric keypad for one hand SMS (not touch screen). I tried the iphone, O2 keypads and just could not adjust. Even keypads like those found on the HTC Touch Dual and P1 were not comfortable. I do not need a QWERTY kepboard. In fact I find it is a waste of space for my needs.

- phones I have tried so far ar the Motorola Z8 (the Z10 is not available locally) N82 (great camera, horrible keppad), N95-8GB (too bulky) and the W960. Then I heard about the G900...when is it expected?

Any other alternates other than the G900 will meet my requirements. Also a friend of mine told me that the G900 will NOT have a fully functional touch screen but only the buttons on the bottom of the screen will be active. is this True?

in fact he told me the G700 might make more sense for my needs.

Both G900 & G700 are fully functional touch screen.
The G900 camera has Autofocus (better quality pictures) while G700 dont have.
