would this be the same for a v600i? i have one which is unlocked now, although i'd like to get rid of the vodafone-crap on there that slows down the phone by putting the k600i firmware on it - just not quite sure how to do it. all i have is the included micro-usb cable that came with the phone. any help would be much appreciated!

this wil only work with CID52 DB2020 handsets (you need setool2lite 1.11, not 1.10 as in the guide)

i would consider putting k610i firmware on the v630 to get rid of the voda crap but the red/green call buttons will become internet/activity menu buttons .

afaik, the k600/608 and v600 are cid37, so will need a full CSCA unlock as they cannot be patched and the method above will not work

you can get the firmware here (you have to register before you can download files) :
http://www.iprotebe.cz/firmware
you can get either the v630 firmware if you want vodacrap branded firmware or k610 firmware if you want a generic unbranded firmware
