It's not possible on the P990i, so I don't think you can do it on the P1i either. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

I guess you could always use opera mini instead, but it seems that SE in their wisdom don't let you reasign the shortcut button '@' to it, so you'd need some kind of keymapping software to do this...hmm
Another imperialist restriction on the users' customisation of what is after all THEIR OWN device, ahem - sorry - meant to say 'Another UIQ feature'.....
