Again it seems things havent changed from Sony ericsson side.We have the usual delays as- usual .
16 Phones announced and none available on the market.We are almost on 3rd month of 08.And its been already almost 4 months after announcement of w890,k660,w380.And i believe most of u would have forgot the announced Sony ericsson phones waiting for it

This does raise a question regarding the competition.
Nokia N82 hit the shops within a few weeks of announcement.
Are Nokia going to set a trend where handset hit the shops within a very short time period (like: Apple)?

3-4 months is too long IMO.

The Xperia X1 is still 8 months away. I think SE have the longest waiting times for releasing phones of any of the phone manufacturers.

They really shouldn't be any different from any other OEM.
By the time the phone hits the market, the excitement surrounding the announcement has all but disappeared.

perhaps they just want to tell all the other manufacturers what they are planning so they have time to brnig out competing products !?

Well if they suddenly decided to not announce phones until a couple of weeks before they were to become available then we wouldn't hear from them for a year at least.
