Quick query - I have just flashed my phone with the latest firmware (the software told me I had the latest but I thought I would give it a go anyway).
That went fine, but then when I did a restore of a backup, which was only an hour old, it seemed to have lost everything after November!! No texts, e-mails which I had saved etc etc were on the phone...
any thoughts on why this might have happened? I didn't update the time on the phone till after the restore but I think the default date was sometime in July...
If it helps, my phone is on...
Phone: CXC 162037 R9G007
Organiser CXC 162108 R6D 23
CDA: CDA162024/55 R6A
Also, no idea why it wouldn't update, I'm not sure what 'version' my phone is - I bought it online in the UK from Expansys... any ideas (I would have thought I would have got a firmware update by now, I've had the phone 5 months!)

No idea why, it's one of those unfathomable mysteries of SE software policy......
As for your backup, did you try restoring again, now you've got the correct date?
