Pros:
Thin, sleek design.
Bright, high-resolution display designed for video playback.
Slick "multi-touch" interface, "self switching" accelerometer, "proximity sensor", and ambient light sensor.
Clever "Visual Voicemail" makes it possible to select voicemail by sight in any order.
High-quality applications, including an excellent "desktop class" web browser, HTML capable e-mail client, and integrated Google Maps.
Support to read, but not edit, Microsoft Word and Excel as well as Adobe PDF files.
Relatively large storage capacity for a mobile phone (4 GB or 8 GB).
Built-in wi-fi and Bluetooth 2.0.
Built-in 2 megapixel camera for basic photography.
Potentially less expensive than an iPod nano and advanced mobile phone combined.

I played with an Iphone only for a short time and it does have a wow factor but the things that would put me off are
2mp camera ( i am no david bailey but come on)
Not able to send mms out of the box a big mistake -sorry(i am sure this is true if i am misinformed then sorry)
Not being able to remove the battery.
But each to their own and i hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of using it

I`ve had like 7 iPhones till now, started with 4GB and then upgraded to 8. I was always afraid i am losing money so i sold it after 14days or so. Then like after a week or so i missed it so much i got another and so on.
To be honest i even made some money with them. Last week sold my 1.1.3 8GB,.. Next week my 16GB should come, i hope i am keeping it, eventhough i already have a buyer for it.
For me.. i love the huge screen. I love it as a foto album. I am not much of music fan but still, sometimes i do listen to it. I love surfin` on it before sleeping. Video playback is my main reason for loving iPhone so much. It handles HQ videos just perfectly. It opens them fast, seeks fast, sharpness is superb (with little encoding skills).
Compared to my E90 i definitely miss 3.5G but iPhone renders pages faster so it really doesnt feel that slower (if it even is slower). I do understand people who judge phones on specs for $$$ and i dont blame them. For me the user experience with iPhone is so sexy cool i dont mind paying that price.

The Iphone has a crap camera, no 3g, bluetooth only works with other apple phones, no MMS, No video recording, You can't turn ipod songs into ring tones.
I mean these are just basic things you expect from a phone, even the most basic phones do this!
It's a nice looking phone and the touch screen is nice but thats all. I'd rather have my N95 and an Ipod Touch.
