I've got the annoying 'operation failed' error on my phone which requires a reflash.
However, 3 won't deal with it as I'm not the registered owner of the phone (I did phone them when I bought the phone to register the IMEI and they didn't say anything then).
Apologies if this has been asked (and I've seen the massive firmware thread) but is there any way you can reflash yourself? Reading that thread it seems to say the 3 firmware is R1DA039 but mine is the original 29 version. When I run a software upgrade via the SEUS it just says no update available for the phone.
Problem I have is I mainly use opera mini but now can't get access to it.

This is common message if the phone was not finalized properly. DaVinci then, as suggested, since SEUS doesn't make complete flash.
