When I try to receive items thought bluetooth, I get a message saying "Memory Full. Please delete one or more items.", but on my memory stick I still have aroud 300mb free. Anybody got any ideas? My phone is a Sony Ericsson W580i

hi, just try the usual, take the mem card out re-insert it... try again
try sending something from your phone to another
also check if camera pictures are being saved to mem card not phone..
the simplest maybe that the file is larger than your actual memory available (lol)

I've tried removing the memory stick and putting it in again, but I've still got the problem. I also made sure its saving to memory stick. And btw, i doubt the file would be over the 300mb ive got left

Bluetooth files will sometimes, depending on phone, be sent to the phone memory and not the memory card, that might be it.

I've had the phone for a while and had no problems with it trying to send to the phone instead of the memory card. Also, if a memory card is inserted, i think it automatically saves to the memory card and not to the phone

I had a problem like that once. I had to put the memory card in another phone copied the file i wanted and reinsert in my phone back. If u have done all what the other responses have stated then i think you have a phone problem or virus. So suggest you take it to be checked. Make sure that its not that the phone memory is too small to accept the file u want, that is important.
