I don't think there is without adding some additional software but i don't quite understand what if advantage it offers over using the USB dongle as opposed to using your N95 8GB seems like a lot more hassle for no advantage. I would say the USB dongle would most probably offer better performance than your phone connected via WiFi and then it's Internet connection.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but my MacBook has the option to create a network, where it essentially takes my internet connection and transmits it as a wireless connection so that other devices can join it. The thing is, I have wireless internet and I have only ever used my MacBook with wireless, so I don't know whether it can create a wireless network from a wired or USB one.
But I see no reason why it wouldn't be possible. Also, if you aren't using a Mac, I don't know how you'd do it. Windows computers would obviously do it differently if they do it at all.
BTW: Please excuse the vocab I'm using, as I wouldn't know how to explain it in tech language!

I hope you can work it out, good luck!

if I'm reading correctly, you are trying to play your online games (in your phone) via your home's internet connection?
why don't you try connecting your phone (via wi-fi) directly to your router rather than your laptop. there should be documentation on how to connect other devices to your router via wi-fi. but if you're using the laptop card thing (the laptop card you get from a cellphone provider) to connect to internet, then I won't have a clue on how to connect your phone to your home network
