Hi, I found that I can use Sony Ericsson mobile phones as Bluetooth remote controls using their Bluetooth HID remote control software (http://developer.sonyericsson.com/getDocument.do?docId=71477) and manual (http://developer.sonyericsson.com/getDocument.do?docId=66147).
Here are my concerns

Can I setup custom key actions for Navigation keys? The above linked document says it can be done and I read somewhere that it cant be and navigation keys always move mouse when pressed. I tried it once on W700i and could not. In my Custom.hid file I had the entry KEY_LEFT
ACTION
KEYBOARD MODIFIERS=00 USAGEID=41
which is a mapping for F8 key according to USB HID usage tables
So can you please confirm this if navigation keys can be mapped to keyboard keys

And if possible please attach a sample .hid file which I can test at my end with following bindings

Left Navigation Key -> Left
Volume Up Key -> F8
Camera Key -> Contrl P

Thanks

PS: I'm writing a Media Player for HTPC and would like to control it via my mobile phone
