@SLY21

Well that version of software is really old and should be on V20 that brings massive improvements to the phone including demand paging that increases Ram and speed. I know Orange are not the quickest at releasing Firmware but at the very least it should have a newer firmware by now try connecting to the Nokia Update via the PC Suite and seeing if thier is a new software version available for your device and re flash it your self, just remember it will erase everything on your phone.

If thier is no new firmware again you can try *#7370# which is a full factory reset again this will delete everything currently on your devcie. Personally i am not sure why you want it that way and would advise changing the product code and flashing to the latest Generic Firmware anyway so you get the best and latest firmware for you phone now as it really does offer some massive improvements.

@SLY21

How about going to a Nokia Service Centre as if you still have an Orange product code they will flash it with Orange Firmware, and it will be free of charge. Other than that you will have to wait until or if Orange release new firmware for you to flash it with yourself, i mean V20 has been available for some months now and seriously improves performance you would think Orange would want thier users to benefit from more than just a minor upgrade as soon as possible but then maybe not.
