For all those who dont know... there are many softwares which reduce the bitrate of your songs...
usually the bitrate is 128kbps for mp3
but if you make it to 80kbps at 32khz then you can store nearly 350 songs on a i gb card
that means the song takes only 62% of what it originally took

The quality is also not much compromised
except when i attch my w200 to mps-60 portable speakers, then at the highest volume they produce an unnoticeable vibration
so its better to reduce the bitrate
save space on your memory card

Any more suggestions are welcome....

1) even 128kbit is too low for mp3s in my opinion. I can hear the difference on my PMX-100.. 80kbps ? lol..

2) If you want smaller size songs, use m4a. 80kbps m4a is at least as good as 128kbit mp3.

3) just buy 2gb/4gb/8gb microsd.. they are lik €20 nowadays

I think it also depends on the music you listen to.

If you listen to some Punk rock, then 128kbit/s or even a little lower might do it for some, but if you listen to classical music then 128 kbit/s is not gonna do it for you.

I use to listen to opera's on my K800i (bought extra a 4 GB M2 card) and if those tracks would be 128 kbit/s I definitely would not enjoy them...

or you can format your memory in FAT32 format for faster response and more - file per megabyte -.

this has been tested on K800 - M600 - P990 - S500 - K810 - and some more.

BUT after that, don'5 format your memory in the phone unless you formated it in FAT16 again with a PC.
