Can anyone tell me whether not only the keyboard lights up but the buttons under the screen? I'm sure half my lights have gone! The bottom three rows are bright, the next one up is half light and I have nothing above it at all.
Thanks, hope this doesn't have to go back - just updated the ROM etc!!

Bit more info - when you open the camera lens, the lights on those buttons light up, close it and they go off.
Also it is a K800i but I have flashed it with a K810i ROM. Would a different button configuration make a difference? Do I need to put a K800i ROM back on there?
Anyone?

I did this. You need to get a new light config file after flashing. Go here http://www.4shared.com/networ[....]t&sizevalue=10&start=0&x=0&y=0

Yes, the keypads(hardware) are different on each phone.....

So after the flash(or at the same time as finalising), use FAR/XS++ etc.. to replace the K810's light effects with K800 ones, and you'll be fine.....

from the K810 firmware in K800, is it possible? thread

Thanks, folks, I'll keep it then - no return!! Stephen - which is the best one of those to use? And do I just use XS++ and cust pack to put it on there?

why would you flash to a k810i ??

from what i've read theres little benefit + added headaches

I mean are photofix + trackID worth all this effort that I see people going through

the only advantage I could see is if you switch the housing to a k810i and want the firmware to match the housing

I was flashing it anyway as the rom was so far out of date - thought I would go "up" to a better and newer one. Not much hassle - only problem is the keyboard which I will sort out in about 5 minutes.
Need to look at the camera bit later....

is there now a fix for the light after k800 to 810,@camera-mode?

@camaramode the keys #, 0, * has no light and in camara-video-mode all number-keys has no light
