hope you guys can help....would appreciate it very gratefully.

cut the long story short

everytime i turn on the phone, the loading bar on goes a quarter way then restarts and then does it again!!

basically its like a loop. even when i put my charger in, nothing happens as well. also putting it on the cradle, it just does the same thing.

to be honest i cant afford to lose all the data that i have.

dont know what to do????

any sort of comment or help will be very grateful!!!! thanks in advance!!!!

Try pressing the on/off button, while keeping it pressed for > 10secs (should cause a "fresh" reboot)?

i used to have a similar issue with my M600i... i'm not sure exactly which was the fix but I formatted my mem stick and also didn't beam all my contacts to it from my P910i like I had been doing; this is all after I had done an update via the SE website.

this had been going on for months because i would send it off to SE as it was under warranty and would sometimes get the loop happeneing after about 3 hours of receiving it back and beaming all my contact s to it and inserting my mem stick...

hope this helps and good luck...

thanks for the advice

the only thing im really concerned too is my contacts and messages. im partly to blame for not backing up my contacts.

so i presume you lost all your stuff too? also was the phone sorted after you formatted the memory stick?

thanks again

Maybe it's got something to do with the dock? Such as.. you would dock it when it was turned off, then turned it on from the charge only state into GUI, and then when you undocked it, it stuck in the reboot to charge- state..?

well i did notice that the light doesnt turn on when you put a charger or on the dock.

also sometimes it does get stuck when its booting. i either have to take the battery out or keep my finger on the on/off button for a few seconds.

it is proper doing my head in!!!! lol.

cant figure any way because i cant even master reset the phone!!!

Hm. Idea: Try entering the phone in update mode.. start the update service and so on. And then abort it after the phone has been identified.
