well, again, my new SE is not perfect!
after ONE day of careful light use, the slider is completely loose!
I am exchanging it this week.Oh dear! Unbranded, expensive, ...and one day of use!
I do not know wether to get another w910 or what. SE is just complicating my life soooo much.It cost me 400 euros!and if I keep it I'm sure it will become unbearable to use in a few months...
It was hard to decide on another SE after the 2 previous exchanges of 2 faulty w580 and also one w910 (branded this time).But in all cases battery cover and keypad.....and disegraful WOBBLY sliders TOO.
What am I supposed to do?
Exchange it and cross my fingers AGAIN???? What is wrong with SE?
I had no probpñems qith the slider of my 3 w850!

I said it in reply to you in the W910i thread, so I'll say it again here.

I'm pretty sure you have an early version of the W910i. That firmware is old, and the early W910is had slider problems. But those problems have been fixed and I haven't seen a report of a wobbly slider in ages. I have a W910i which is about 2 weeks old and it has no problems like that at all. I'd try to get another W910i, but this time try and make sure its a newer one.

I have had lots of mobile phones, mostly SE..but these last 4 SE are just giving me such a bad time...
I feel soooo bad
The girl in the shop says I'll have to wait , as they only ha dthis w910 in stock. She has been very kind, it is the same shop where I bought the two faulty w580-they never try to plkay with costumers, they cahnge the mobiles or give you the money right away. I have got some days to thinkl it over. The w910 is in its box.

At least you don't have to learn a new menu and contact entry & desktop software installation, ringtones, etc etc by going to a new phone platform or OS. That is hectic already.

If u are thinking of getting another sony ericsson phone then take a look at the W890i or get a new stock W910i

I will certainly do, if I'm given the chance!
Today I'm going back to the shop, as they have just told me they have another one for me. Just pray it is a newer, more recent unit. If it is not perfect, of course, I'll have my money back or a bonus for a "near future" w890.
