> Regret buying my S500i

Hello this is my nag about my "mid range" S500i
i have used the phone now for about 6 months and dear god i regreat getting it. the buttons are all busted if i press the C > or down button wrong the active menu pops up it i Press the Back
i feel i have been ripped for this as i payed £129.99 for it i havn't updated the firmware incase it bricks and i havn't used CID51 flash stuff before only K750/W800 (CID36) so im behind on the software modding side now.
i miss my W810
and i miss my light damn it!
anyway so i feel pissed off at :SE may go back to nokia again or even try a samsung next year i feel that considering if i spent £10 more and got the W580i which feels better on the hand slightly stronger and less buggy (for some reason) i would be happy but what can i do.
anyway feel free to mock or comment on for me

A Carphonewarehouse staff member said to me that the W580i and S500i were 2 of the phones in their stores that are returned the most. He went on to say i would not recommende buying any of them phones. He then said WHY DONT YOU BUY A BLACKBERRY PHONE. I thought no way i would rather have a buggy SE than get one of them. Lol.

I know how you feel. I felt the same about my K850i, so much so that I sold it.
It's good that you've got it in for repair; hopefully they'll fix the hardware problems and update the firmware, which often makes a significant difference. It's amazing how differently you can feel about a phone when it's working properly, so I'd say sit tight and see how it is when you get it back from repair.
